SMS Consent for League Dues Reminders

• SMS reminders are used only for league dues or payment status — nothing else.
• Messages are transactional and service-related, not marketing or promotional.
• Each message is a one-time, manually triggered reminder. Leagueswype does not send recurring, automated, or bulk SMS campaigns.
• The league commissioner manually triggers each SMS reminder from inside the app — one member, one message, one send.
• Messages may include the league name, member name, dues status, and an optional link to the Payment Hub.

• A member gives their mobile phone number to their fantasy league commissioner for the purpose of league dues communication. Leagueswype does not collect phone numbers directly from members.
• Before sending each SMS reminder, the commissioner must certify — in the app, at the time of sending — that the member agreed to receive it. This is commissioner-certified consent.
• Leagueswype does not send an SMS reminder unless the commissioner provides this certification for that specific message.

This is the consent language members are shown, and what it means to provide a phone number to a commissioner for dues reminders:

“By providing your mobile number to your fantasy league commissioner for league dues communication, you agree to receive one-time SMS reminders about your league dues or payment status from your commissioner through Leagueswype. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.”

Before each reminder is sent, the commissioner is shown and must affirm the following in the app:

“I certify that this member agreed to receive this one-time SMS dues reminder from me for this league.”

• Reply STOP at any time to opt out of SMS reminders.

Phone numbers collected for this purpose are used only to send league dues and payment-status reminders. Phone numbers are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
